A different Boweida
The factory wrote its name 博维达 — “wei” as in “maintain”, not “great” — so this is a second business that happened to share the domain’s Latin spelling. It was based in the Yangjian town industrial park in Xishan district, Wuxi, Jiangsu, and described itself as near the Shanghai–Nanjing expressway, Wuxi airport and National Highway 312.
The site
The homepage, built by a local web agency in 2011 under Jiangsu ICP registration 11088569, had sections for About, Products, News and a guestbook, a scrolling product carousel, and four news items dated February 2012 on lock standards and lock culture. Every inner page was served through index.asp with the page name as a query string, which is why none of them was archived separately.
How long it lasted
The same page was captured in January 2013 and again, unchanged, in August 2023. Parking pages in between (2014, 2016, 2017) suggest the hosting lapsed and was restored at least once. By January 2024 its inner pages returned 404, and by September 2024 the domain had been taken over by a gambling template.
The old addresses
The factory’s URLs — /aboutus.html, /product.html, /news.html, /contactus.html, the product-category pages and index.asp?… — are the ones search engines still hold for this domain. They now redirect permanently to this page and to the products page. Phone numbers and the contact’s name from the archived page are not reproduced.
