2007–2008 · The expired-domain page
On January 26, 2007 the homepage title was a string of adult-content keywords and the body was pop-up and pop-under script pointing at an “expired” landing page on a monetisation service. It was still there in 2008. This is what a lapsed domain looked like in that era; nothing about it related to Boweida.
2014–2017 · Parking
December 2014 shows a Google AdSense-for-domains page; October 2016 and June 2017 show a Baidu parking page reading “Your parking page is pending.” The lock factory’s site reappeared after this, so the hosting was probably restored rather than the domain re-sold.
2024 · The gambling template
From September 2024 the hostname served a Chinese template for a “waterproofing and anti-corrosion engineering” company whose every heading was the name of a Macau online casino — a standard SEO-hijack layout, with sections such as /fuwuxiangmu/, /guanyuwomen/, /gongsixinwen/ and /anlizhanshi/. Those prefixes now answer 410 Gone so search engines drop them.
Why spell this out
Anyone who finds this domain in an old search result or a 2024 link deserves to know what they were looking at. None of these three periods involved either Boweida business, and none of their content is reproduced here.
